I posted in the sitemenu section too but the root cause of my issue seems to be my ini filles are not updating displays. Here is a simple one that did not work. Should the following line change the heading on my home page from imagevuex to never4get? startheading = never4get Gallery

That worked! Thanks so much! The label is changed now to get the menu up and running . For future reference to all: you need to edit the config file in the template folder but the sitemenu file that resides in the root directory if trying to update the menu.
