How do I keep the SITEMENU up when in SLIDESHOW mode?

How do I keep the SITEMENU up when in SLIDESHOW mode?

As an example, navigate to my website: http://www.christophergrant.net
Then click on any gallery, then any thumb.
The menu disappears! Doh!

Any help would be much appreciated!

If anyone has any ideas or thoughts about this please feel free to write them, I'm not entirely sure this is a possibility...

Any thoughts welcome!

thanks for that.

Another issue I've noticed with the sitemenu is that when you have a popup slideshow (ie the slideshow appearing on top of the thumbnails), if you resize the browser window, the sitemenu moves out of position.

you are right, and I have fixed that now -

<a href="https://www.photo.gallery/downloads/imag ... agevue.swf" class="mlink">imagevue.swf</a><a href="https://www.photo.gallery/downloads/imag ... deshow.swf" class="mlink">slideshow.swf</a>

Now, there are 2 important issues regarding the sitemenu that I have to mention:

#1 - When using autohide = true in the sitemenu, the sitemenu will not appear in slideshow modus. (Most seem to be happy to not use this feature anyway)

#2 - When rolling over the buttons when in slideshow modus, any tooltip popups assigned will not display. They only display when in gallery mode.

Let me try to explain why there are these limitations ... The Imagevue gallery and the slideshow module were originally 2 separate projects, not intended to be combined. After alot of feedback, it occurred to me that many users wanted to use the gallery with the viewing properties of the slideshow, so I did manage to build a bridge between them. However, there are alot of issues regarding alignments and prototype functions - I dont think Im gonna get too technical about it.

Not before we rebuild the gallery from ground up for some release next year will we fully build integrated features.

Hi franck,

Thanks,
I have an other issue !

I want to use a different sitemenu in thumbnail page and slideshow.

In config.ini :

sitemenu=sitemenu.ini

In slideshowimagevueconfig.ini

sitemenu=sitemenu0.ini

But this doesn't work !

No that does not work, and will not work. Sorry. Either we have to focus on trying to integrate the modules, or separate them. The slideshow module in Imagevue, is a module integrated for viewing images, and it will be restricted compared to the standalone version.

I have that problem on this moment. This is what i filled in in the slideshowimagevueconfig.ini but the sitemenu opens, on the first and third link, the "hand" appears, but with the second and fourth link it doesn't. Also the popups does not appear.

[MAIN]
sitemenu = sitemenu.ini

[CONTROLS]
sitemenu = sitemenu.ini

www.genesiz.nl - choose a submenu, choose a picture and the popups disappear.

GenesiZ, you need to download the latest imagvue.swf and slideshow.swf that Karl posted earlier in this thread. These new versions fixed this problem.
