I have problem with browser Firefox v. 37.0.2. and fonts Lato - look terrible.
Chrome , Opera and IE- not problem.
What to do ?

Interesting effect, but definitely because the font does not include those extended latin characters you are using. I don't know why Google deals with this better, but it does.
