my browser size has to be width +1600 to view the image without it hiding under the left menu. That is unstandable as I have chosen a large image.

my browser window has to be +1700 width for the 7 rows of thumbs to display and not interfere with the menu.
My current screen resolution is 1920x1080.
Does imagevue decide the screen width by browser width or my screen resolution?
Is it possible to adjust this setting?

Imagevue decides the width of the elements (thumbnails or image), based on the available stage width, your settings, and "smart" optimization. For example, it wants your image to be as large as possible (regardless of aspect), but it does not want it to overlap the menu, but this may not be possible to achieve based on the screen size and the settings.yesmaybe wrote:Does imagevue decide the screen width by browser width or my screen resolution?
You can go to settings -> image, and change margin and scale:
Depending on your menu style/depth, you can adjust the margin so that the image never overlaps it ... However, in some cases, this would render your image very small. Guess why we by default hide the menu and only display it on mouseover? Thats why! If you are going to have your menu expanded, show large horizontal images, also on small screens, and not have any overlapping, then you will need to compromise.

Unfortunately not for Images no, because the technical nature is different in regards to scaling and positioning.
