You do as I do and mix the style in the galleries which I like and the about you is really nice (made me smile).
Didn't like the large image on the homepage so much, it was too much (overpowering)and didnt convey the message that there is a whole site behind it. I'm not a fan of that transition either. The home page didn't make it personal, it made the page another gallery instead.

but I need to do some fixing, I just saw it on a large screen and I need to tweak its margins, was designed on 17"(grin)
