transparent background of tooltip in topbar..

09 Oct 2012, 08:14

Hi guys,

i'm a new imagevue user actually and setting up a new gallery right now. Now i have an issue with setting a transparant background for tool tips, in the top bar. See the attached screen.

Do you guys can help me to get the background of the tool tips in top bar transparent? As you can see in the example pictures, my main menu already has a transparent background color.

Thanks in advance.

BTW: any chance to get these tool tips in german as well, by changing the language somewhere in powerPack? Otherwise i have to do it "manually". :(

You can customize almost whole layout of powerPack in "Themes" section of your imagevue admin panel.

The settings are grouped by the modules, and the very first group, called "Main Display" is related to the main screen gallery appereance.

In "Main Display" section is another group called: "Tooltip" and this is the group which you should to check.

Obviously, some settings are not available, due to imagevue original layout, and they are static to prevent mish-mash in design. That's why back transparency of the tooltip is set to 100%.
No option yet here for that, sorry...

Whole powerPack is multilingual. You can set languages for powerPack there where you used to do for all of the gallery items - "Languages" in your imagevue admin panel.

You do not change anything in powerPack installator / manager, as it's only an installator. After installation, everything should be integrated with your imagevue admin panel.

Hi Artur ,

thanks for reply so far. Regarding the transparent tooltip background, ok. Thats called bad luck.

But regarding the language. I already set german as language in the general options. But everything related to powerpack is still in english. I still have in the top bar "comments", "news on site", "votes"...

And if i open "news on site", in the bottom only english (new comments, new photos, new rates and so on). But the rest of the page, not related to powerPack is in german, like buttons for pictures description, zoom in and out...

Did i something wrong?

THX in advance.

Hi Artur,

yeah, i was on this page. Just the half of it was on german, so i translated the rest of it on my own. Means: issue fixed. )

Thanks so far...

But i still have one other question. I'm allowed to use this thread? It's still related to transparency. See screen. If i open the guestbook every text area has a transparency value. but if i click into a text area, the transparency is changing from to more transparency. Means, from dark to bright.

Can i avoid this somehow? If yes, where? I guess somewhere in THEMES ---> PowerPack ----> GUESTBOOK setting. But wasn't able to find the right setting so far. :(

Thanks again.

Cheers

Unfortunately, this can't be changed.
Only the color of input fields can be changed in CSS section (the style is the same as for contact form fields)
