That would mean that, for some reason, your host does not seem to have enabled the mail() function in PHP so Imagevue may not be able to send e-mail with this method. In your mail settings, there is an SMTP option, where you can set the e-mail to instead use an e-mail server to send mail. It might work if you put 'none' in Settings > Email > Force From, this option will make sure Imagevue doesn't try to change the from header when sending e-mail. It is essential on some hosting providers, like GoDaddy.
