To me, this is a bit weird, because title of an image has no reason to be related to the software name ... Why are they not using a different field? I would at least imagine this should be a setting in Lightroom ...
So, as I understand, the problem is that your titles in Imagevue come out as "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.4.1" and you don't want that? (naturally). You can disable this EXIF inheritance features in admin -> settings -> settings.disableImageMeta. Other than this autotitling is enabled by default anyway, but I imagine that your best option would be to turn this feature OFF. Why? Because then your title will be empty by default, and only the NAME will display for the image ... If you don't want the name, then just populate the title field with whatever you want.
It's funny. It's not easy to understand when people don't talk same language. I'll try to make short. When I download a new picture in my gallery, the field "description " is completed by the good information. But it's not true for the field "title". It's completed by the filename, not by "title".
