Although I would have liked to answer differently to this, the answer is no ... It has to go in front of the title.

The answer to this is because basically it loads an external graphic into a movieClip, and it is not technically possible to add this into the text-flow. We don't want to embed it inside the textfield itself, because that creates all kinds of textfield problems that we are used to in flash. Of course, we could consider making it possible to add the icon to the end of the title.

You might have a point ... I just considered that folder icons would not be used much on folders with subfolders, as the icon would normally represent a specific node or link.
