Fatal error...

22 Apr 2011, 10:54

Please could you say to me if this message report a bug from IV, or is it a problem with my server ?

"Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'String could not be parsed as XML' in /homez.353/ardeas/www/ImagevueDan/iv-includes/include/ivMapperXmlFolder.class.php:45 Stack trace: #0 /homez.353/ardeas/www/ImagevueDan/iv-includes/include/ivMapperXmlFolder.class.php(45): SimpleXMLElement->__construct('/homez.353/arde...', 0, true) #1 /homez.353/ardeas/www/ImagevueDan/iv-includes/include/ivMapperFactory.class.php(12): ivMapperXmlFolder->__construct() #2 /homez.353/ardeas/www/ImagevueDan/iv-includes/controllers/IndexController.php(38): ivMapperFactory->getMapper('folder') #3 /homez.353/ardeas/www/ImagevueDan/iv-includes/include/ivControllerDispatcher.class.php(144): IndexController->galleryAction() #4 /homez.353/ardeas/www/ImagevueDan/iv-includes/include/ivControllerFront.class.php(90): ivControllerDispatcher->dispatch('/homez.353/arde...') #5 /homez.353/ardeas/www/ImagevueDan/imagevue.php(28): ivControllerFront->dispatch('/homez.353/arde...') #6 /homez.353/ardeas/www/ImagevueDan/index.php(24): include_once('/ho in /homez.353/ardeas/www/ImagevueDan/iv-includes/include/ivMapperXmlFolder.class.php on line 45"

It is OK, I've deleted the file called "folder". And it works.

Just "folder" or "føldër"? This error appears when there are non-latin symbols in folder/file names. This is fixed in the upcoming release but anyway, hard to believe that the file with a latin name triggered that.

You're Right Nick, I'm guilty...

It was a non latin name, sorry for that :)
