Not possible to put a link in a image in version 2.6.4

23 Mar 2011, 10:54

Hello,
i would like to put a link in a image.
In setting/thumbnails/click i chose "link".
Now i would like to put a link in my image but in this version (2.6.4) there is not the line "link".
In the other version there is this line "link". We can see this line in the picture that the photographer Martin Broeze gave me. Where is this line in the 2.6.4 version?
How we do in this version?
Thanks
Best Regards

You need to first enable the "link" attribute for input. Go to admin -> settings -> settings.attributes.image ... Check the link option, and save. You will now be able to enter the link attribute for files in the admin.

This link can be used to jump to an other location when the thumbnail is being clicked on.
I use it in my gallery to have 'main-directory' thumbnails that direct one to the sub-directory galleries.
