ImageVue & IE 9

17 Mar 2011, 18:57

Is it just me or does Imagevue not display correctly in IE 9?

Perfect In Every other browser I have tried.

Is this a known problem?
Is there a workaround for this?

Exactly what Imagevue module are you referring to? I checked the flash gallery and this seemed to be working fine. The admin also worked fine, although there were some very minor glitches there.

I saw there was some font-rendering issues with our main website www.photo.gallery which we will be looking into asap. Thanks for reporting!

I'm also having some problems with IE9. It displays pictures and menus correctly, but all the smooth movements of menus are pictures are gone. Now everything is kinda choppy. Neither IE8 nor firefox had these problems.

We will spend some time testing with IE9 ... Can you update to latest Flash player? Also, try rebooting.

The fix, 2 parts:

1. Reset IE settings
o Tools (gear icon on main toolbar) >> Internet Options >> Advanced tab >> Click Reset; Restart machine

2. Select "Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering"
o Tools (gear icon on main toolbar) >> Internet Options >> Advanced tab >> Select "Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering"; Close browser instances, re-open forum, and post that your day got better.
