iVuex works on my Motorola i1 Phone

13 Aug 2010, 20:43

I randomly surfed to an imagevueX gallery on our out-of-the-box Motorola i1 (Sprint/Nextel [IDEN]'s first push to talk android [v1.5] w/ opera mini browser) Phone/Radio.

It worked... It played the music playlist very well (though positioning/controls were missing/buggy) .

The dropdown menu worked as should! We could select galleries.

The slideshow aspect functioned... and the controls for next image worked, but there were some abnormalities when the images eventually loaded.

All in all -- a very browse-able/streaming sound experience.

Why does this work? I always thought imagevue was flash? I have no idea why an andorid 1.5 / opera mini (when android 2.2 is out) can run this site w/o switching to html alternative version?

I'll continue to read the boards... but... holycrap!!! THIS IS AWESOME.

Very interested because we purchased this Motorola i1 push-to-talk phone to test app dev for work/material request, and prioritizing (scheduling) app dev for our foremen/admins.

We like drop down menus and images (of things like... construction/land leases/documents)...

What ever happened to the mjau-mjau CMS ? :)

I am not familiar with Motorola i1 - If it worked, I guess it supports flash then ... I am also guessing that it uses the Android OS which supports flash. Now I never tried Imagevue on a platform like this on a very small screen, and I would suspect it impossible to use, but I am glad you had a positive experience. Normally, on platforms that don't have the SWF plugin, Imagevue will switch to the HTML version. The HTML version doesn't have features and sleekness of the Flash gallery, but it is compatible with all platforms.

How big the screen is? Could you post a photo or a picture please?
