Minor inconvenience. Any help would be great!

14 May 2010, 00:48

So i switched servers from godaddy to bluehost and everything works fine.

However when browsing through different pages in my site, the web address remains the same whereas with the godaddy server, it would change with each page.
Example

When viewing page 1 of my travel photos:

Godaddy shows the address as:
www.xxxxxx.com/travel/page_1

Whereas Bluehost remains:
www.xxxxxx.com
I know the problem isnt with the hosting company but probaly with some script I screwed up on or the way I arranged the files. Any insight on this guys?

In your admin section you can change the browser' title bar text, which should remain constant, and the page title you select should be appended to the end of the main title in the browser bar !!!

Interesting communication...

Just to clarify in case a newbie shows up and gets confused...

I hope the authors and the readers understand that the reply from SofTones misunderstood the problem and subsequently gave a solution to a different problem. That being, setting your "Site Tittle".

The problem as stated was resolved by j3fw (the originator of the post) by checking the "useswfaddress" box.

...and never the tween shall meet.

Well, no matter, it seems the question in mention has been solved by enabling the SWFAddress module ... Thankyou!
