How to change the width of a 'below image' text?

08 Dec 2009, 16:26

Hi,

it's my first post here, so first of all, congratulations on a great product. I am not a webmaster, yet I was able to setup my own gallery with it, can configure it the way I want and it looks great.

Is there any way to change the width of the text field when I have it displayed below images?

It looks fine with landscape format

but not so with portrait format

Is it possible to have the text for portrait / vertical images wider than the images? As wide as for the landscape images? How do I do that?

Radek

It was a choice of design to limit descriptions to maximum same width as the image. It looks a bit weird if the width of the text goes beyond the image width. I see you have set text to appear on image rollover only ...

There is a setting for the text "auto" that aligns text to the RIGHT of portrait images, and ABOVE landscape images.

Thank you, Karl.

Good to hear you have already evaluated this option. And thanks for the tip about the "auto" setting - I didn't know that.
