Large Control Tanspancy Issue

20 May 2009, 08:14

Hi,

Loving X2.0.1 but...

When Large controls are set to static ie autohide=false then the large arrows are static but their transparency is so high that you can not see them anyway,

There is no way to govern their opacity, unless I ma wrong, in theme either?

Also is there any chance of colouring the foreground of them as in main controls?

thanks

I think it inherits transparency from another setting, but why not simply change the color of them instead? Go to admin -> themes, and look for controls.largecontrols.color .... You can set color the "background_color", "custom_color", "foreground_color" as to inherit from those main colors, or you can set it to a specific color.(f.ex 666666).

Thanks,

But it is specifically the transparency that is the problem...

Do you know where it inherits value from?

I did some research, and unfortunately, it seems transparency is hardcoded. In fact, it is set at 100% onrollover, so that shouldn ´t be an issue. I think if it isn ´t visible in normal mode, shouldn ´t you consider changing the color a bit?

The large arrows are quite intuitive anyway. When rolling over the right side of the image, it displays 100%, when rolling over the left side of the image, it displays 100%. Some galleries don ´t display the arrow at all before you roll over the active areas.
