Imagevue 2.1

05 May 2009, 19:50

Absolutely love it. It seems more responsive now and while I'm not sure if you made any improvements it sure seems as if you did.

I noticed that the drop down boxes for move/copy functions now support the title name if it's selected. Because I have very long titles defined the drop down boxes extend out past the navigation area (so I have to scroll to the right to actually use the box). This could probably be corrected by setting the drop down box width in CSS.

I also have an idea, you could create a link in the admin that not only shows what version is currently being used (I do realize this can be found in the diag screen), but the link could also inform users if there is a new version available. Just an idea.

I believe it should be snappier than before, as we did some modifications in that area ... Only pain has the full details there though.

The width for your copy/move dropdown boxes would have to be set specifically for these boxes, or they would apply to all dropdown boxes in the admin. I believe this can be changed through the admin/template/ files ...

Current version and RSS feed in admin we though of adding in a future release ...

Hey thanks for noticing, yes we did some improvements in gallery's internal structure, but there are still plans for future speeding up.

Hey guys - yeah, it's much quicker. No biggie about the text boxes as scrolling over isn't that big of a deal. Just wanted to let you'all know.

let me know if I can help with with beta testing or whatever in the future. ;)

As far as speeding things up in the future, you should check out my super-cool super-cache post somewhere around here. HA!
