"Click on the image to enter" doesn't work

13 Mar 2009, 11:52

Hey!

First of all, I love this tool, it's absolutely terrific, so keep up the good work!

I uploaded my gallery and got it running, but a feature on the starting filemod doesn't work: when I click on the picture, which is supposed to take me to one of the folder of my gallery, nothing happens.

I guess it is because of the frame that is used by my domain host to make a transparent redirection (clicking doesn't work on this redirected url: http://www.tiet.net but it does work on the direct one: http://tiet.free.fr).

Do you know if there is any solution for that?

Thanks in advance!

PS: could someone also tell me what is written in place of "Gallery Menu"? I tried to change it in the language config, but it doesn't show any difference on my browser... I don't know if it's a cache problem or something. Thanks!

Unfortunately, internal linking in Imagevue is achived by using the SWFAddress javascript, which uses the URL field in browser to trigger events and linking. When using a frameset, the javascript does not trigger in the container document.

You should be able to change the language for "Gallery Menu" by editing your language in the config editor ... If its not working, then please post a link!

Hi,

I'm experiencing a similar issue but without any host company frames.

I have an image in my start folder - which I have added a URL to.

However, clicking the image does nothing, there is no sign at all of it even being a link.

This is regardless of whether I enable SWF linking or not.

It's ok thanks.

I fixed it by copying the settings on your own admin demo - I was adding the link to the image rather than the whole folder. :)
