PHP error and problems with thumbnail generation.

13 Mar 2009, 10:50

Hi there.

If my thread is misplaced, sorry, this category seemed to me as the best choice.

I'm currently rebuilding and upgrading my site, and therefore I've also been making my own theme for the gallery.

In making my own theme I've bumped into two problems:
  • 1: Whenever I uploade some pictures to display in a filemod folder as photoblinds, they're not showing. When I go to edit the image, I get an error header telling me:
    Code
    A PHP Error was encountered

    Severity: Warning

Message: Illegal offset type in isset or empty

    Filename: /imagevue/include/ivExifParser.class.php

    Line Number: 227
2: I want to have a different thumbnail size, than I have had. I've changed my configurations in the config menu, then I've pressed recreate thumbnails start from current folder. I don't get a timeout, but some of my images are created as the old size(most of them) - not the new. Why is that? I don't seem to get any error, they just appear in the old size.

Here do they appear wrong: http://sjfoto.dk/dem/gallery/?contentfo ... %20Crafts/

Here do they appear correctly: http://sjfoto.dk/dem/gallery/?contentfo ... als/Bears/
Hope anybody can help. Thanks for a wonderful, easy-to-use, and super-configurable web application - making galleries on the web even better!

Kind regards,

Frederik J.

Solved

My problems are solved.

EDIT: I might add that I for the thumbnail problem simply deleted all the thumbnails, before I remaked them with the gallery function.

For the PHP problem, I downloaded a program called Exifer where I removed all the exif data for the images; it solved it!
