Home Button in White Theme Menu

27 Feb 2009, 10:26

Is there a chance to have a Home Button or something like that in the White Theme Menu?

When I start a flash slideshow I can't go back to the main menu (start folder in content folder). Ok, I can go back with the back button of the browser but I would prefer a nice link on the top in the menu. Possible?

P.S.: Congratulations for that excellent X2! :)

Thanks for any help in andvance!

I found a solution ...

I stored a copy of my "start" folder in the content folder, renamed it to "Home" and then I set hidden="false" and now there is a "Home" button in the menu which brings me back home. 8)

Ok or is there a better way?

Hmm, maybe in your case you could just rename Gallery Menu to Home in language settings.

Seems like the easiest thing is to have a "Home" menu button at the top, classified as a "link" instead of a "folder" and point it right back to your page.
Worked for me.

Me too, good idea.

But the text on the button is italic. Is this because it is a link?

Can this be changed? I can't find where to alter it.

This is part of your theme stylesheet, which controls the text formatting for all textitems in the gallery. Read more here:
