How to add separate 'fullscreen' link to slideshow?

05 Feb 2009, 13:25

I haven't found a way to change the fullscreen button used in the main controls, so I'm wondering if there's a way to add a separate link (text, graphic or button) on the page for switching to and from fullscreen?

The standard button on the main controls just isn't a familiar and recognizable fullscreen button -- I'm wanting something noticable & clear (even just a 'fullscreen' text link), anywhere on the page....

Is this possible?
Thanks!

We'll change current icon to more recognizable one with diagonal arrows for the next release.

Fantastic! In the meantime, is there a workaround hack I can do...?
Or, can I add a text 'Fullscreen' functional link somewhere on the page?

Maybe using "purchase" button and set it to:

asfunction:_root.togglefullscreenfunc

Karl could recommend something I guess.

Thanks, I'll try that. Can you tell me where documentation is for customlink? I can't find it....

Hmm I meant this:
viewtopic.php?t=4349

But its not exactly what you need. I thought we had an option of loading custom user gfx for button... *scratches his head*

pain: we DO have a "custom" text item, where you could for example add the text "toggle fullscreen", and place it beneath images. Another option, is to make the IMAGECLICK toggle fullscreen.

Im open to other suggestions as to where to locate a unique fullscreen button.

Since I want the 'Click Image for Fullscreen' custom text to be fixed and not jumping with the different sized images, I made a workaround -- I integrated the text into the background image. It works pretty well, till we have a separate button.

Check it out:

I was reffering about using custom image. Will [img src] work there?
