Looks to me like it's the image dimensions, not permissions. It's 997x1500 pixels which would most likely be an 'out of memory' error when attempting to create the thumbnail. I recommend making the image a little bit smaller ...

thanks for commenting and trying to help.

there is a quick blinking error when the cache has been cleared and viewing the site.

i'm going to change the size of the image you suspect is causing the error.

if this does not fix the error do you have any other ideas as to what is going wrong?

aside from that , i'm getting error messages when sending mail from the contact form.

the mail does in fact get sent, i know this because i'm receiving it.

however after the mail has been sent, there is php error instead of sent confirmation.

I replied you about email in other post, what of images size - try to shrink them down to I don't know 1000px or so. If it finally will work and you think the size of it is too small for you, ask your hosting provider to increase memory limit for php to allow your gallery process larger images.

thanks guys,

i've contacted my host and they have fixed the sessions issue.

as a matter of fact they solved both of my issues at once.

i no longer get the blinking red that appears when coming to the site.

and i no longer get an error when sending mail.

********

aside from that things are smooth.

with the exception that i can't seem to organize my menu in the proper order.

it doesn't seem to work no matter how i try.

things get shifted. and i'm stuck with a somewhat random order.

Good. What about folders order for now the solution is to rename folders on disk in order like it's done on https://www.photo.gallery/soda for example.

1_First
b_Second

etc..

Then in admin just give them new titles and they will look fancy.

Nick,

Just did what you said about naming them like a_ b_ c_

and i have it set to name desc.

it works , but every time a folder is modified, the newest one always goes to the bottom and i have to rename and reshuffle the order.

it's becoming a pain.

any ideas?

You mean folders are reshuffling by themselves? What do you have in Config > Settings > DefaultFolderSort?
