I am having a write error for the gallery description/thumb on the main menu. in the backend, i click save (after confirming 777 permissions on that galleries folder and xml config file), it indicates saved in green in the upper left of the admin, but the change does not reflect in the front-end, or even in the config file if viewed through an ftp client. Are there any other suggestions besides checking the file permissions that can help me through this type of error?
