Statistics

I'm using a PHP tool (PHPStats) and Google Analytics to track the access to my site.

At the moment I have added the related HTML code at the end of index.gallery.phtml template file, therefore I can check the access to the Gallery seen as overall, but I would like to find out a way to monitor as well the access to single photos.

Is it possible ?

Regards,
Marco

So far probably no, because its actually single page for flash gallery. You're stay on it all the time when browsing images. I am not sure yet if there is a way to resolve this, except adding counter into gallery itself.

I'm using Google Analytics as well and DO get numbers of individual images, pages, and folders. Although it's not always clear to me if the traffic is from the Flash or HTML side.

The image URLs read like this:
/content/Images/Gallery 01/sorrows.jpg/

Pages read like this:
/content/info/contact form/

This appears to be me testing a theme via the flash app (maybe??):
/index.php?c=gallery&theme=Stew

The home page stats read only as this:
/

And my default gallery:
/content/Images/Gallery 01/

The stats may be all via the HTML pages. The high volume recorded in my stats leads me to believe its more than just the HTML pages...but I don't know enough about it to say one way or the other.

As markam24 mentions, it already works with SWFAddress+analytics -

Hi,

Sorry for bumping this old thread...
I was wondering what I need to do in order to trace my visitors completely (as shown in the above links).

I've added my standard GA code at the end of my index.gallery.phtml file.
What should I do now?
It looks like "swfaddress" is loaded at the top of the page. So, is it enough, or should I add something else?

Thanks

After monitoring this for while I believe Analytics records hits to individual pages in flash, but it attributes them to the index/home page.

I believe individual page hits shown in Analytics reports are from the HTML pages. The reason I say "believe" is that the actual URLs reported don't link directly to either Flash or HTML (weird). An example is " /content/Images/020%20Gallery%2002/CHAOS.jpg/".

So...I can't be certain. But the excessive number of hits attributed directly to the home page tell me is that is where the ALL flash page hits are reported and the unusual URLs (as shown above) are most likely hits to the images within the HTML pages.
