copy/move images

30 Jul 2008, 11:53

Hello,

The copy/move functions (in v2 update 07 28 2008) are not working for me... It losts images and duplicate others... Well, this is quite strange but each time I tried it, I had to delete all pictures and upload them again.

I think that these functions should be verified... Am I alone having this kind of problems ?

Thanks for your help !

No, this is a bug! It will be fixed shortly ...

People: Please avoid using the copy/move selected files until next update(after this msg is posted). For some reason it either copies files into root directory or into the same directory as you are trying to copy from.

I've just installed the daily update (30. July 2008) and I have exactly the same problem... but this bug is not in the latest changes so I'll wait for the next update :-)

Hi MacDo,

You are not alone having this kind of problems.
Read older topics first before you place a new one !

I was trying to say that it is not fixed yet, even in the release dated 20080730 ... If it is fixed in the next release(and it will be), you can read about it in the updatelog https://www.photo.gallery/v2docs/updatelog/

@ Hemmy : please excuse me, master, I usually search for old threads before posting but I evidently did not do it this time. Really sorry for this.

@ mjau-mjau : :D ok, I did not understand really well so I updated and had a try. I prefered to say it, but I was thinking that if you solved the problem, I could read it in the updatelog... :)

Thank you very much for your support !

Might be a smart idea to label things fixed in the forum with [FIXED] or such ?
Just my 2 cents ;)

Wish we could keep track of all posts like that, and we try to update.... but I dont know if you have noticed how many posts come in, and several related to the same issue. Sorry, people will have to pay attention to the official updatelog to be sure of knowing whats going on ...

Of course... but the user who posted a bug report could/should post when the problem is solved... ;)
