Menu "startshow" bug

28 Jul 2008, 00:27

Under edit theme, menu, main menu the option for "startshow" seems to break things in that even though the menu does start opened up, the menu title area is still there... meaning Gallery Menu is being overwritten by the folded out menu.

I think that was fixed in the latest release 20080728 - At least it seems to works here.

As soon as I can get the gallery working again (get rid of that array error) I'll check it out and let you know for sure!

Do you have any links to your gallery and error? I still believe that this error somehow is related to updating the gallery in some way or the other. I havent seen any new users with this error, and we haven't experienced it personally.

Perhaps you can try and upload the default minimal gallery provided in the zip to a separate location, and see if it works from there?

According to another post in these forums, it seems like changing themes has something to do with it...

The script errors can be seen here:

Did you try to recreate this bug by uploading a clean new imagevue v2 folder? Just upload the default files in a separate folder, and change the themes and see if it makes any errors ...

Also, just for the record, could you try to rename your folder, removing spaces and .dots.? Just try "hamrick_ladies" and see if it makes any difference.
