Problems.

27 Oct 2006, 04:37

I'm having problems setting up my gallery.

http://www.jaredjurcak.com/eyesack/
(I'm piggybacking on a friend's site until I get mine up and running)

I asked Mjau-Mjau for some advice and was told that there didn't seem to be any "content" folder but when following the path all the way down to one of the stock images:

http://www.jaredjurcak.com/eyesack/cont ... n_Dawn.jpg

You can see that all the folders are there. I've uploaded the entire "upload" folder, renamed it and changed a few things but nothing outside of the "config.ini" and "sitemenu.ini" files. Also my mp3 player doesn't seem to work. Do I have to change the line in the config file -

contentfolder = content/

to something other than just "content/"?

I've also uploaded the "test" folder and everything was working fine.
Any advice or help would be much appreciated.

i just found out that the server is windows based and does not support PHP. could that be the reason for the thumbnails and mp3 not working?

(im also using a Mac if that makes any difference)

As far as I know, yeah, you gotta have the right PHP support or the whole thing is down the drain.

Good luck though!

The server does seem to support PHP in some way or other. Most of the Imagevue scripts seem to be working, but others not. No matter what, the PHP on the server is not set up in a standard way. If you check the test here, and click the DIRtest http://www.jaredjurcak.com/eyesack/test/ - You will see it fails to print ok on two of the options. The server is restricted as to reading contents of folders, thats pretty much all I can say.
