1st time Admin access hangs at "Loading sfx"

03 Dec 2007, 00:00

Hi - I'm a newbie

I just installed ImageVueX today, and when I went to access the admin page, it went to load, but then hung up at "Loading sfx" and won't move.

Please help a newbie who knows *nothing* about HTML?

Thanks!

Carron

Sounds like the sfxlib.swf file has been corrupted somehow. Perhaps you have a link to your gallery/admin?

Yes I do.

It did the same thing when "gallery" was named "upload".

Thank you!

That link does not currently work for me ...

Does your main gallery work though?

Sorry about you not being able to get to the site - the host had some downtime last night I was not aware of. Should be good to go now.

When I goto your main gallery:
http://www.photographybycarron.com/gallery/
I get "500 Internal server error"

When I goto your admin, the sfx loads fine, but the PHP doesnt seem to be working in the background. I can't login.

I think in any case you should not worry about it stopping at the SFX. It seems to me that the server is having a lot of trouble in its configuration ... Perhaps talk to your server admin?
