slideshow problems...

30 Oct 2007, 03:15

Okay, I'll admit I'm a total newbie, but I've got a lot of things figured out already. I'm having a few problems and can't find answers to them. Please help me, I'll be eternally grateful.

1. I have my gallery set up with just a few test images in it (www.kpooledesign.com/upload). I am trying to set up the slideshow module, but no matter what I put under 'path =' in the .ini file, i can't get it to pull up my images. The startupimage shows up fine, but no other is pulled from my folders. Thoughts?

2. I am going to have several different galleries (portraits, nature, wedding) with each having a few sub-categories. I would like visitors to be able to click on a thumbnail in the gallery (say in portraits>women) and have a slideshow of just the images in portraits>women. I would like to do this for each sub-category I have in my gallery. Is there a way to do this?

3. How do i set it up so that when a thumbnail is clicked, a slideshow starts automatically with the photo clicked?

Hope someone can help me with these! I am impressed with these modules already, but want to get up and running as soon as possible.

Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply -

#1 - Still have trouble with this? As in our example, you can for instance do:

https://www.photo.gallery/imagevue/slide ... 20Animals/

#2 - You can of course use the slideshow module to simply display a slideshow page with portraits>women, but Imagevue does not have a menu system with thumbnails for each gallery. You could of course create that in HTML. Not sure if I understood the questions 100%.

#3 - Open slideshowimagevueconfig.ini, and set "autostart = true"

Perhaps you can elaborate question 2?
