can't upload or delete with non admin users

16 Oct 2006, 03:35

hi

I'm still having problems with users that are restricted to a single folder.

when I'm admin there's no problem uplading or deleting but when I
use a different user I get these problems:

1. on IE6 - although upload is done, the spinning arrow goes on and on and the
folder doesn't get updated with the new picture.
on FireFox - upload is working well.

2. on both browsers - can't delete pictures that I uploaded.
gives me a message: "An error occured - cannot delete image"

here's the admin console:
http://www.jcsgallery.com/admin/

use "moss" for admin
and "gibson" for a limited user

please help.

Hello again,

It's been a week now since I posted about the problems and I'm worried
that nothing has changed...

Is this going to take long? I've only baught my hosting service for 2 months,
and I can't start working on my website without the admin module working
properly.

please try and fix these bugs soon.

Thank you.

No I haven't and unfortunately the guys at imagevuex don't seem to
care
too much.... :-(

it's really disappointing because I bought it plus a domain
and hosting services just
for the imagevuex modules and they don't work like they should!

A waste of money

Do we need to update the adminconfig.ini as well?
There are some settings added in this file.

There are some settings added in this file.
That is not necessary. This following setting was added:
Code
passwordreminder = true
Its only function is to display a reminder to set password on the users first visit(cookie), so it will not apply to exsisting users anyway. The only reason its added in the configuration, is that a few users might want to strictly turn it off - Like for our demo admin page, I dont want to display a "set password" reminder for every first visit.
