Imagevuex is like Dell - great product (CrapCustomerService

11 Jul 2007, 16:46

Need I say more?
Why not...
I like Dell computers. They have always served me well. What hasn't served me well is the shotty customer service they provide.
If a major corp like Dell can't get their CS under control how do i ever expect imagevuex to.

Love Imagevuex
Hate their customer service (ie forums and contact)

Anyone else feelin this? I have scowered the forums looking at questions by customers ( some easy and some not and some my own)
ALL NOT answered.

Get it together guys - you have a great product and technical know-how

WHy not pay someone to work on the forums during the day

My 2 cents

Imageveux

Just purchased this and my heart sank after about fifteen minutes. Customer service would appear to be nonexistent and taking a look 'round the forum has depressed me further.

I thought I would be able to display the viewer anywhere on a webpage but I cannot figure it out. The software seems to work orite but krikey there is no support.

Missing documentation, no support, no replies to emails and a forum that gives me the shivers. I think its a one man show!!! :( :x

I apologize for the weak forum support during the last few summer months. Sometimes when proceeding towards a new version, you have to push some things aside.

Imagevue is only 1 and a half person. We don't have the resources to put people on dedicated support. If we do in the future, I assure you we will ...

Please have some patience while we are working towards and entirely new version.

Sorry for any inconvenience -

Thanks!

I've had the complete opposite experience. I admit I was a bit overwhelmed when I first started tinkering with the product, but then I found the online documentation and actually took the time to read it. Most of my issues were solved just by searching the forums, as in most cases someone else asked my question before me. Other problems I had that I posted in the forum were answered in a reasonable amount of time, and the answers were such that I probably could've figured out myself by just digging in the online documentation a little more.

In this day and age of quick and easy satisfaction, people get frustrated when something doesn't work for them right out of the box. Do you read the instructions in order to put together that nice new gas grill you just bought, or do you get pissed that you can't start cooking hamburgers right away?

A little patience and effort goes a long way.

Thanks for the cool software.

Buying a product without getting it...

23 Jul 2008, 13:25

Well, Ive yet to experience what I see as a great tool. I ordered the software 3 days ago but I haven ´t seen username og password to download it. I find this frustrating and actually aggrivating. When you order a product you expect to get it. Ofc, if it was sent by owl from Japan I could understand it, but I can ´t see why it should take so long to give me an account....
