This happens if you have opened the imagevue.fla source file and re-exported the imagevue.swf. Since you most likely do not have the required font files installed on your machine, it will substitute the original fonts with some fonts on your computer. This will cause the effect you see in the first link.
To get around this, you need to install the required fonts onto your machine before opening the imagevue.fla file for edit. The fonts "DesertDogHmk" "standard 07_53" and "kroeger 05_63" are provided in imagevue.zip under source/fonts/ ...
