ImageVuxe Admin Panel,Permission & Upload Error for brow

24 Apr 2007, 00:52

I'm definatly a newbie on this program, I been struggling for while. I would actually just just consider paying someone at this point to tweak what I want. Im finding this to complicated for someone who really hasn't had any web experience.

Well I been reading up on the the forums. Sometime the ?'s I wanted to ask, have been already answer which has help me. I hate bugging ya, cause I know you have life too. Now I have another issues with the admin panel

I can't get the imagevuxe admin panel to work. Its where you enter you site, www.rsommers.com/admin. I got the password to work on this section for https://www.photo.gallery/support/passwords/. But when you go to the admin panel and you try to click browse or to upload I get an error messange saying "You don't have permission to upload files to this dir. The other issues that I have is when you click on the photo, and you type in description and click save date, it says " Error you don't have permissions.

I took some screen shots I can't get the imageVuxe Admin Pane help my sole. I have tried examples that you had in the setup and support as well, as change the CHMOD777 and to CHMOD755 under link https://www.photo.gallery/37 & https://www.photo.gallery/index.php?p=195. I tried some things in the forum, I have ran out ideas from this point on.

I downloaded that server test folder to see if everthing is okay. It looks good to me, but then again I'm not nearly an expert in this at all. I'm know there lots of lazy people out there, I have been actually trying to learn the forums, but I know I'm doing everthing right according to the setup instructions.

The fault is related to your password/login. I did some inspection, and there are errors in the authentication. Thats why you dont have permissions to do anything ....

Can you send me your password.php in a separate email? Im not 100% if this is related to something on the server or if its some mistake in the passwords.php

*UPDATE*

Seems like you have deleted the first part of the script passwords.php where it says_ "<?". Please use the original passwords.php and dont delete anything except adding your password....

:D Sorry that I'm got back to so late, I applogize for that. I been having issues with Mac Dual 1.42 G4 since I updated to 10.4.9. I ended up remforatting & starting from scratch, seem to be my only option at the time. Anyhow I was able to figure out the www.rsommers.com/admin console panel. I backtraced my steps and look at the awsome help menu on your side and figure out where I made the mistake.
He the code

<php>

Thanks again, the problem was exited between the keyboard and chair.
