14 Apr 2007, 09:52

Hi there i was just wondering if anyone could help me out, im in the middle of setting up the gallery for a friend and protecting the images from theft as there going to be for sale etc etc

Anyway, for some strange reason some of the images dont want to show, the gallery just hangs on certain ones. I know i could just delete them but thats something the person im working for dont want to be honest does anyone know what the problem is and if there is a way to correct it?

How are you thinking of protecting the images from theft?

To see why your images are not showing, I would need to see the link. It might be related to characters in the filename, file properties or file permissions.

Hi, and thanks for the reply, the link to the gallery is currently slcphotographic.co.uk the image is there and fully working its just the thumbnail that isn't loading for some reason!

If you click the image before hand then click next you see the image fine!

Oh also is there any way of making the gallery so that its 4 rows?

I clicked your link that went to the PENDULUM folder. Thumbnails loaded without any hassle. Perhaps wait it out and see if it was just some server instability...

Did you already try to delete the bad thumbnails and create them again?

The problem is that the gallery stops at the scripts with filenames that include the & character.

Unfortunately, the Imagevue scripts choke on this character because it is generally used to separate variables when communicating between the PHP scripts and the flash.

To solve this issue, please substitute the & character with "and" or something else.
