PAGE ASPECT

06 Sep 2025, 06:57

Hallo sirs,
Having an art show I made a new page specific for the event, to be activated with a QR code.
In my X3 normal site I have different folders for different items (painting, sketches, videos etc.)
but in this page I'm showing all the exposed stuff and I would like to separate in some way,
something like a
<hr>
or just a couple of
<p>
is it possible? How?

Other question is about the two small arrows I have in my main galleries that move from one
picture to the next or the previous one, in the new gallery I just can't get it, I can only close
the pic or stay there, I tried to copy the attribute and paste there but didn't worked (even with copy all)

I also can't get rid of the date (of the last modification) that shows in the bottom of the description

this is a link to the new page: https://www.mikeletron.com/porcontento/

I want to renew my endless gratitude for your fantastic work,
even if I still sometimes regret version 2 which was perhaps more complicated in the
editing phase but also more flexible in the results, at least for me.

Ciao from Firenze

I'm not actually quite sure what you are looking for here. If you want to create something entirely separate and unique, then why not install X3 in a subfolder or on a sub-domain? That's the true way to create something that is entirely separate from your existing X3 website. Otherwise, you could of course create a section in your existing X3 website, but it will keep the same global MENU and general theme of course. You could perhaps HIDE the menu and other elements for your "special" pages, but ultimately it's either 1. create a separate X3 instance, or 2. Add the pages to your existing website.

For the specific page "porcontento", I see you have disabled POPUP (see demo), which is the default way to navigate images, and usually more useful also. I'm not sure why you have done this, but you might have a reason? If not, the solution is to re-enable the POPUP for that specific page (page settings > Gallery > Popup).

I can't see this. Got a screenshot? Or a link to where I can see the date? This of course is also affected by having disabled the POPUP option for this page.
