Hi Daywalker,
Just to get a few things clear -
In de slideshow you can insert different transitions but this only works when the pictures have the same size.
Thats not true - There are transitions between images at
different dimensions and between images at
same dimensions. Thats why there are 2 different transition settings:
<a href="
https://www.photo.gallery/478" class="mlink">transition</a><a href="
https://www.photo.gallery/479" class="mlink">transitionresize</a>
The difference is, that with the
transitionresize settings, the frame needs to resize before the new image appears. This means that certain direct transition types are not available for transitions between images at different sizes.
For example, you will not be able to apply an alpha crossfade between two images at different sizes.
Now the contrast is so big between the change.
By default, the there are several transitions enabled in the transition settings. Some of them have sharper contrast than others:
shine - Is the sharpest contrast transition, and might be too strong for many.
white - Is a softer contrast transition, and basically tints the image to white.
tint - Is basically the same as white, but follows the color of the frame.
In other words, I dont know which of these transitions you have been viewing, beause 1 is stronger than the two others.
Now to answer your question:
Also then it would be great to have an "black"-option. Can I fix this myself?
To have a black(or any other color) transition, you need to use the tint transition, and set the innerframecol to the black(000000). Any tint that doesnt follow the color of the frame does not look nice in transition. See link below for example:
