Its abit hard for me to "see" that the images are not sorted by date as I have no way of knowing your upload sequence. I can however tell you that they are not sorted by random. They are sorted by what the server believes is date ascending:

http://www.domaine.info/gallery/imageVu ... sorting=da

You can see the sorting is inverted when set to date descending:

http://www.domaine.info/gallery/imageVu ... sorting=dd

This is the way your server is choosing to sort the images by server creation date. If you are using image names with date extensions in them, you can use the na or nd settings instead - Its more reliable.

I have tried uploading 3 images which I have modified the dates setting them a year a part.

Imagevue can not read the date of an Image. It reads the date when it is created or uploaded to server. Some servers operate with some ghost caching, meaning you cant simply delete them from folder and re-upload. You would have to create a new folder.
