You have set the controls to appear at "IBM" meaning "Image Bottom Middle". This setting attaches the controls to the image, so if there is no image(like in your startpage), it will not be able to attach itself to an image and will just attach at 0,0. Why not just use "B" instead for "Bottom"?
Works perfect, thank you!

Looks like I'm done. For now.

I appreciate the help. Great template you guys have made. :D

Actually there is one thing left. My thumbnails look very bad. Really blurry.

I have them set to 100% and on the thumbnailscroll bar they look perfect and clean.

Is there a setting for this to increase quality?

These are the thumbnails that first appear when you click a gallery.

argh...I've resized all my images and now the thumbnails look all out of whack. I turned off scale up and aspect ration, turned them on and still no luck getting them back how they were.

Any way to set them back to default without screwing up my entire gallery?

I checked your gallery, and by default your thumbnails look nice and crisp. They only look a little blurry when rolling over the thumbnail, when it scales - This is normal behaviour unfortunately, because Flash does not have the worlds best method of resizing. To avoid this, you would have to turn of the zoom-effect when rolling over the thumbnail. To do that, go to admin -> themes -> edit your theme -> thumbnails.thumbnails.thumbnail.active_scale, and set it to 100.

I checked your gallery and couldnt see anything out-of-whack. I can see you have set "scaletobox" method which means your thumbnails will keep the original aspect of the image in the thumbnail. This is nice, but it will lead to having thumbnails at different sizes. Also, remember you may have to click "Clear Cache" after resizing thumbnails in your gallery, and you should also clear the cache in your browser, or some old values may be hanging, screwing up your gallery.

Your work is stunning btw. I presume you use some 3D app and photoshop?

I have two suggestions: In the main menu, it would perhaps be nice if you sorted "About me" and "contact form" at the end of the menu. I also think it would be nicer if the 3 gallery menu items were had another color/textstyle as to differ them from the 2 textpage items. Tell me if you need help with this ...

Thank you, Karl!

Yea I use cinema 4d, photoshop and a few other appz.

I tried both resizetobox and croptobox and cleared the cache on the browsers last night, but it didn't seem to work. Now that I have the answer I'll make some changes.

The folders were in order like that with contact and about me at the bottom, but every time I upload an image or make a change to the text pages, that folder will go to the bottom. I do have them setup with the folder names 0001_foldername, 0002_foldername ect... any ideas?

I will try out what you said, and thank you again! :D

For some reason I can just not get my thumbnails to go back to the default.
It was on croptobox and all thumbnails were the same size. I've click "Clear Cache a million times and also in my browers, and even looked on my other pc's and still no change. It's wierd. One of my galleries has it the right way, and the others are just not syncing.

I'm almost ready to just re-upload this again since I know my way around inside a little better.

Any chance the v1 version will be coming soon for x2?

You probably have to click 'Recreate thumbnails' after changing the settings in thumbnails.

This will re-create thumbs using new sizes.

I think it's something to do with my server not clearing the cache instantly.

Whenever I get to work in the morning about 10 hours after messing with the settings, it all shows up correctly here.

Thanks man, and that's good info I hadn't tried that yet.

Thank you,

Ron

When using the "001_name", "002_name" to sort folders, you need to set foldersorting to NA(name ascending) in the settings.

what about the idea of having black and white thumbnails going color on rollover ? it would be a very nice feature.

I agree it would look nice, so I have taken note of this suggestion in case we might think of integrating it. I know it is not a straightforward task, because color levels have to be calculated and transformed into B&W based on threshold levels.
