Galleries empty.

21 Nov 2015, 07:18

Just did a second new install of x3 today. Default galleries are empty when I click on them. Tried different browsers.
The homepage with the landscape works correctly.

Looks like this is same request as you had yesterday, where the images were in fact working after all ...

Link please, or how else am I supposed to check for you?

Yes, yesterday are still not showing, checked browsers, cleared cache but nothing. Today I did a new install and did not touch antying. The above site has not been touched, except turn off diagnostics which did not report anything.

Something is wrong with your browser, or your network connection buddy. The images in both websites are showing fine.

I just tried my tablet, first time I used that site on its chrome browser and galleries are show and even homepage slideshow with landscapes but when entering any of the default gallery, I just get a blank page. This never happened before.

I noticed that you have the full url in address bar. If I enter that, it works perfectly, but if i click the thumbnail, it seems that its not directing me to the actual gallery.

What do you mean "when entering any of the default gallery"? As far as I can see, you only have the default galleries. When I click a thumb, I see this, as is normal:

Try this: Go to panel->settings->settings, disable X3 CDN. Perhaps your network is having problems, and some of the resources are not being loaded ...

If not, I don't know what to say ... It's definitely working, but if anyone else can click the link and test, please do. If there was an error with server/gallery, nobody would see the images.

From default I have three thumbnails of galleries on screen. They are: Sweet Landscapes, Mother Nature and Femme Fatale.

I clicked on the thumbnail Mother Nature, underneath title there's written 20 images. After I clicked, nothing happens. Now see the screenshot. I took that after I clicked. Marked it with red rectangle. Itsn't supposed to remain like that.

On the last screenshot you sent its:

/galleries/nature not happening on my side neither on pc nor tablet, nor phone.

Just did some more testing, and it seems indeed there are some problems related to the last update. I will look into it and post here as soon as possible ...

I located the problem and fixed it ... However, the issue was strictly related to mobile/touch devices and the toolbar. I am not sure how/why you are getting bugs on desktop.

Can you try go to settings->toolbar->uncheck enabled (disable it), save. Then try again?

Thanks.

Before you disabled the toolbar, did you see the sharing button on the left of screen from your desktop?

Can you do me another favor? From your desktop computer, go here:
http://s.codepen.io/mjau-mjau/debug/ojOEgd

Does it say true or false top left? Do you know if your desktop supports touch? I am trying to understand why this bug also may have affected your desktop ...

With toolbar enabled I did not have that button. On left and right I had yellow boxes with no arrow inside.

It said false.

I am using Windows 8.1 64 bit. Been installed for around 2 years I think.

Ok, still not 100% sure why you had an error on desktop, but it should be fixed with latest release 0.12.14 I assume.
