Image link with text in the image

On my website www.thomas-ruf-projekte.ch I have the 4 services (image links to folders)
  • Programmierung
  • Datentransfer
  • Auswertungen
  • Fotografie & Informatik

How can I use CSS on this page only to “push” these headings upwards into the corresponding image and display them centric in white instead of black? I just can't do it....

Many thanks and best regards
Thomas

Now I have been able to solve this halfway but not professionally via CSS. But now I still have the problem on mobile pages (iphone). If I tap on the image link next to the white text, the link opens immediately. If I tap exactly on the white text, I have to tap twice, which is of course messy. Is there a solution to this?

Hi Thomas. Sorry for the late reply ... I'm currently visiting my parents in Norway.

I checked your link, both on desktop and mobile, and it seems everything is working now? The white text is overlaying the images using "overlay captions", and I couldn't detecting any problems when tapping the image links from a mobile device (iPhone).

Thank you very much! Almost everything works. However, if I tap exactly on the white text in the image link on the iPhone, I have to tap twice (!) until the link reacts. If I tap on the image link, but NEXT to the white text, a single tap is enough.

On the PC, one click is enough in all cases. Really strange, the company with the apple :-)

Best regards from Basel to the beautiful Norway!

I tried again from my iPhone. It's only immediately after the website loads that I need to click twice on the white text, and only if I haven't already clicked anywhere else in the document. As soon as I have clicked on anything once, I only need to click once on the links to navigate, also when navigating "back" to the same page from another page. This is something related to initial document focus and/or that it learns about the user click method (hard to say), but it only requires clicking twice if it's the first two clicks immediately after the website loads.
