My gallery recently stopped loading for IE 11 users. Opening in compatibility mode does not solve this for clients. It does load fine in chrome and Firefox. Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated.

Yes of course. I have also tried to access the gallery from other machines in other towns. with the same result IE 11 does not load but other browsers do. I have alos had a few friends in other countries try with the same result.

You are using a very old version of Imagevue X2 ... 2.1.5 ... Last release was more than a year ago, but version 2.8.10 ... I cannot guarantee this will fix anything, but it is the first thing I would try.

Having said that, we are already on Imagevue X3 now, made for modern browsers and modern devices. The SWF platform is unfortunately outdated, thus we moved on to Imagevue X3.

The easy solution would be to update to 2.8.10, if you dont wanna mess around. If you can locate your orderID or the email you made your order from, you can download from https://www.photo.gallery/downloads/ ... I could help you locate your ID.

If you want to spend time with X3, which is a very different visual concept, you would first check the demo, review the documentation and see if it for you. X3 was launched just yesterday in early beta, but is a very modern future-friendly project. Upgrading from X2 to X3 doesnt allow you to keep folders/images, but not any settings because they are entirely different platforms.

I found my order ID logged in downloaded 2.8.10 can you give me a link to or documentation on the update procedure thru FTP? I have some themes and content to be saved.

I recently updated to 2.8.10 and I followed the release instructions but my custom colors and themes were lost can you help me find the files that control them and replace them in the new installation? I switched back to the old version until I can fix it.

When upgrading from such an early version 2.1.* to 2.8.* with mobile version and replacement of several custom folders, you need to re-apply a few theme settings manually. Docs for upgrade are here:

There is a procedure noted for pre-2.5 version upgrades.
