About Video

Hello,

I uploaded a mp4 video file in my website using imagevuex,

However, I use my PC the test the function ( I use Chrome Browser), when I click on the thumbnail, nothing happened. It means the video cannot be played....

But, when I test it in my Samsung Note, it will be played normally.....

Can anyone help me and tell me how to fix it ?

You have created a custom html page with Imagevue, and therefore you are missing some javascript files which handle the popup window that contains the video. I believe you must add the following to your document:

Why have you included the colorbox css and js files 3 times each? You only need ONE of the colorbox.css and ONE of the colorbox.js ... that is first thing to fix. Thereafter, I am also getting an error on the website "Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined" (https://d.pr/i/8PJq). I am not sure this is because there is a script that is trying to use jQuery before jQuery is loaded, or because you are using a too old version of jQuery. Hopefully it is the first ...

In either case, only add the colorbox css and js ONCE, not THREE times .. and make sure they are AFTER the jQuery load. Then we can see after that ...

Thanks for your help firstly, I tried to correct my html according to your instruction, I place the code after "jquery.js" , however, it still not worked......

Is it any mistakes of my html or the wrong setting of my imagevue ?

You still have duplicate colorbox JS and colorbox CSS files in the above ... you are also using an old version of jQuery 1.6.4. Fix those issues, and you will likely fix your problem ... I cannot do anything more until the above is fixed.

I already corrected my html code, and updated the jquery to new version (I can only find the new version v1.11.1 in http://jquery.com ).

Sorry last step, I believe you need to add this script also:
http://www.hkatc.hk/imagevue/iv-include ... nctions.js

You should be adding the same JS/css files as in the original Imagevue, but I think the above is the only one missing.

hmm unfortunately another problem because the video is trying to load the video relative to your page, instead of inside the imagevue folder:
http://www.hkatc.hk/imagevue.php?a=vide ... C_OWDC.mp4
should be:
http://www.hkatc.hk/imagevue/imagevue.p ... C_OWDC.mp4

Do you only have a single video in that folder? Then I have a solution for you. In the admin for that page, set the folder to "link" instead of "gallery", then add this code on the link url field:

Actually, I want put all videos in one folder, so it will not only one video in a folder...

A solution would be to upload one preview image for each video, and then set a link for each thumbnail, linking to a video ... You would need to handle each thumbnail/link manually ...
