Is it possible to create a slideshow of pictures and text as you have on the hom page https://www.photo.gallery.

Technically, that is two entirely different modules and platforms, so the short answer is "no". You can build a slideshow though in the Imagevue interface and display text with it, but it would kinda look like this. That is using folder parameters.
