child galleries presented on main gallery page

My gallery opens to User Submitted, where the first and only image of that album loads. Perfect. Below this gallery and more child albums. The only way I can open these child albums is to click on the menu. Is it possible instead to have the albums (with one thumb) displayed on the main page under (or instead of) the first image. I don't want users to 'have' to use the menu navigation. Is this possible?

If the gallery has no images I can't even open the gallery page. For example click on Mongolia. I would hope and expect all (or the first 4,8,12) sub albums to show up..

Is there an option to 'show sub albums'? or similar on the main gallery pages?

Unfortunately, Imagevue does not display albums in the main content area. Everything is in the menu.

Not sure what that means ... You didn't include a link to your gallery. ALL galleries show up in the menu, but no a folder without images cannot be opened, because there are no images in it. However, the menu expands to show all sub albums in the empty "folder" that you are clicking. You cant open a gallery page that doesnt have a gallery.

Sorry no, it does not work like this in the flash version, although you can have it work like this in the mobile version. It will be possible in a future (but not immediate) future release.

Could I make a 'text page' as the main landing page with albums listed in there then?

Here is the link to my gallery:

On the menu you can see the Mongolia menu, which is empty, except for a sub album. Clicking on 'Mongolia' does nothing. I now understand that having the sub albums displayed on the main menu is not possible. shame.

OK, I look forward to that release.

Let me cut straight to the core of this question: Imagevue does not work like that, although perhaps it should. If you create a textpage or other workarounds (like assigning links to a group of thumbnails, redirecting them to galleries), you need to handle all this manually. Imagevue will not do it for you. Not recommended!

I guess you mean having the menu expanded by default? Sorry not possible. Wouldnt that contribute more to the problems in your other forum topic about overlapping elements? You need to keep things compact and react upon interaction from the user.

OK, I will see how some static pages work later, once all the albums are up and running.

No, I wasn't referring to the menu, but on the top album pages. I was hoping to be able to have the sub albums displayed (with one thumb nail and in introduction - much like the popout on the menu) imbedded in the adult album, displaying one thumb nail to click to enter sub menus, instead of having to use the drop down menu. But I now understand this is a limitation of the product.
