Was a playground ever released?

My site is in need of a significant overhaul and I came to the forums to see if there were any big updates in the works. Needless to say I'm really excited to read about the direction X3 is headed.

Thanks!

I have promised to launch the x3 "playground" within January, so basically I got a few more days trying to get this representable. I will post here later this week ...

I'm really stoked about the new 3.0! Excited to implement it myself. You guys do great work and it's really appreciated. Take your time and do it right. No need to stress for a few that don't have the patience. I rather it be solid and stable than buggy as hell.
Just a side note...since it's literally a 1.0 using HTML5 and no longer the old Flash format, maybe name it X1H or something? Trust me. It'll save you a lot of headaches in the future when it comes to marketing, support and asset management. This is a huge change for your company as far as demographic reach; opening doors to those refusing to use Flash. And once you archive the old Flash formats and packages when it becomes irrelevant to you, it'll be weird for your first HTML5 platform to be "X3". Just my two cents in seeking to make your work more manageable. :D
Thanks again for the hard work!

Appreciate your concern. We certainly are aiming to do it right, but at some point we gotta put some pressure on ourselves to launch milestones, even if slightly premature. As mentioned, this early "playground" demo will contain the new X3 foundation alongside new features and technologies, but it will be stripped of themes- and layout variations until the core is sufficiently ready.

Thats for the advice ... Not sure about "X1H" though? Maybe more something like "X3 Evolution". The name is a slight issue, but I am not sure a total name rebrand is the right way to go either. We have a new domain http://flamepix.com, but not quite sure if we would directly use it for next version of Imagevue.

Congratulations! I'm looking forward to seeing the new release.

I'm guessing the "HotSpot" functionality will not make it into the first release. How about the possibility of adding it to a future release of X3?

Cheers

Did I say Wednesday? Sorry, its gonna have to be Saturday  . I appreciate that most of you are understanding like @nz-photo, and a few days dont make much of a difference, but I am eager to keep this thread updated and push for an early sneak-peak milestone.
