We do have a new concept in the making, and there will be a very early prototype available to view already this month, showing off some features. It will be very different from current Imagevue though, and I am not quite sure if it will even be named "X3" as it won't really be a successor of X2.

Once the early prototype demo comes up later this month, I will elaborate extensively. It seems a bit counter-productive writing a lot about it before that, and screenshots simply look a bit like snapshots of photographs in a website, especially since the design is relatively minimalistic. In many ways, the new version will be more conservative, but also more unified, flexible and modern in so many ways.

First of all, what do you mean "pop-up" advertisment code? Adsense is usually a block of links that goes into the page somewhere, usually on relatively unattractive websites. Sorry people, it is NOT a conscious concern to put aside space for advertisements/adsense in the new version ... Priority bar none is to build the awesomest gallery website conceivable in the year of our Lord 2013.

I am not quite sure what you had in mind anyway ... You want me to put aside 200px blank width on the side of the screen or on top of the screen where you can inject adsense? These things will look and feel awful on the fragmented world of devices anyway, while the new gallery will be carefully optimized to respond gracefully on all devices.

Having said that, it will likely be easier to inject Adsense into the new version, since it will be unified and built in Html. Have you guys been using Google Adsense earlier btw? I am curious if you have any experience with it.

I really like this quote...

it gives me visions of a slick interface...
...just like the current mobile version is today but then smoothly suitable for all devices...

"Priority bar none is to build the awesomest gallery website conceivable in the year of our Lord 2013." --- Indeed that's what all of us devotees are waiting for! :D

"First of all, what do you mean "pop-up" advertisment code?" --- By this I mean some place in the control panel where we can paste the javascript/html code (similar to the one Imagevue has for analytics) that the AD companies give us which Displays a pop-up everytime someone visits our website or opens a particular page.....or a pops up once every 20 mins etc etc. (depends on the html/javascript code the company asks to paste in your site)

Other examples are : Adbrites interstitials, Adversal etc

You will already know this, but just pasting this in case it gives you any ideas: http://webdesign.about.com/od/advertisi ... 21703a.htm

Regarding allocating Adsense space:
Placing ad's does make a site look ugly, no doubt about it. And leaving space for it also messes it up. What I mean is a sort of dynamic type screen which can accommodate a 720 * 90 at the top and move/start the gallery below it ONLY if there is any Ad code placed in the admin panel. If no ad code pasted , then just start normally by taking up the whole screen. (or whatever the default design is). ps: ad's don't resize so this code would be ignored when viewed on mobile devices.

Sorry, my reply earlier was a bit premature. My idealistic vision of a dazzling future gallery had no room for Ads, so I barked it off  . Even though it will not be a core focus, I don't see why it shouldn't be relatively easy to allocate optional space for ads and possibly display only when space is sufficient (device).

Glad you will pay some attention to it. :)
" ....and possibly display only when space is sufficient (device)." And when someone actually pastes the Ad code in the admin panel ad section.
I stick to Imagevue because you guys have a taste for quality design & aesthetics, and don't just build some money focussed crappy gallery. I just think adding a few small monetizing options (optional stuff, else display the gallery in the default neat mode) would bring it more into the mainstream.
All the best !
Thanks.
