Hey guys,
I have recently purchased imagevue so i apologise for the naive question.

I am a wedding photographer, and want to produce a password protected slideshow for my clients, how can I achieve this?

What I would like is for the client to log in using their details, and a flash slideshow starts, is this possible?

I have produced a password protected log-in for my clients, but when I log into the software using the clients details,
I am provided with a host of options to amend, how can I restrict this access?

You can set a password for any folder. Simply navigate to any folder in your admin, and see on the left there is a password field.

You mean you want to have the login redirect the visitor to a specific gallery based on their login? Unfortunately Imagevue can't do this ... Why not just give them the link to their specific gallery? For example like this:
https://www.photo.gallery/demo/x2/#/fancy/

You can additionally hide the folder from displaying in the gallery menu, so it will be a "secret" gallery only visible for the people who have the link. If you are more concerned, you can even add a password to the folder as outlined above.

You have produced a password for the ADMIN-area for your clients? I don't think this is what you want to do ...

Yes, I wanted to produce an area where clients can log in using their own password, and access their wedding images, is this possible??

So you suggest producing an online gallery, then providing my customers with the link address, and add a password?

I have tried adding a password to the folder but the gallery does not load? It just keeping on buffering?? Please help......??

Yes, why not? Seems like what you are trying to achieve. If you create users in the admin, you are just creating another admin-user ...

Also, how do I add thumnails to a flash gallery??

It doesnt work when adding a password? I will need to check that when you have set a password for it (currently there is none). Furthermore, you need to add the link like this with %20 for empty spaces:

I would actually question why there is empty spaces there in the first place ... Did you create this folder by FTP? Preferably, it should be named "kate-and-turlough", just to avoid inconvenient character conversions in your browser. Instead, you would set the TITLE "Kate and Turlough", which is what everyone would see in the gallery anyway.

You have specifically set this gallery to start as Filemod -> slideshow. You want thumbnails? then you need to set it as a normal gallery ... You can still force it to start in image mode, auto playing. Go to the folder in admin, set the folder to "gallery" instead of "filemod" ... Then you will need to go to settings and set startmode = image. Thumbnails are already created.
