Getting rid of the "<" sign.

Hello everyone,
I was wondering how could I get rid of the < sign displayed between picture's name and site title. For instance: Landscape < John Smith | Photography.
I would like to get rid of that or even replace it with a | or a -.
I can't find it in index.php, can everyone help me?
Thank you in advance.

This is controlled dynamically by the Imagevue SWF and set through Javascript with the SWFAddress module. Technically, there are no pages in Imagevue, so its just set through JS for aesthetic reasons. Why would you need to change it anyway? Its almost impossible to notice anyway since a browser tab hardly has room for half the title, and besides, this is the standard practice of separating pages and subpages.

If this is for the sake of sharing on Facebook, then you can edit iv-includes/templates/default/layout.phtml

I wanted to get rid of it simply because I don't have titles for my images and it looks like this: < Site Title | Photography. Buy it's okay, is't not a big deal.
Thank you :).

That's interesting, because all images have either a name or a title no matter what ... Title = name. How did you achieve not having a title? Unless a custom title is set from the admin, the title is the name of the file. If you don't want titles to display in the gallery, you can disable titles. However, this does not mean your images do not have titles, because they always will.

Thats like trying to have unnamed files in a folder. Not possible.

You are right, I see your point.
I can see their title in the administration panel, but it't not displayed on the website. (look: http://www.andreiracasan.com)

It titles are not displayed in your gallery, it likely because you have disabled titles to display in your gallery ... It does not mean images do not have names.

I can't currently access your website ... Website is down ... You using MediaTemple and Cloudflare?

Yes, I didn't want any titles, therefore I disabled them.
Yes, I have just installed Cloudflare, I saw it here and I've thought it would be a grea idea. Or not? What do you think?

So what is the question here then? If you disabled them in the gallery, they will not display, and this is what you want. As mentioned, just because you disabled them does not mean they do not exist.

Your site seems to be up now. If Cloudflare reports your page being down, it is not normally Cloudflares fault. It means your hosting is down somehow ... Cloudflare generally just controls the DNS and traffic that routes through to your server.

Hello, How do i set the titles not to display on the website?
Do u mean, when a user clicks on images, only the picture will be displayed and nothing else above it (no file name, title) etc? If so, could you tell me where that option is ?

The title is part of the image text in your settings. Go to admin -> settings -> image.text.text1.items ... You will see there are a few items checked there. Remove the ones you don't want (for example title). You could disable the entire text if you want ... image.text.text1.enabled ...
