hello,

Just upgraded from v2.7.3 to v2.8.8, but having some problems with my auto-start flv on /start
Are there some new settings that I'm missing or need to enable?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I did notice that recent changes to the server were just applied and EXIF and mbstring is disabled. Could this be the problem?

Hard to check as you have some kinda sign-up system in the link.

There was indeed a new video player since version X2.8, that also supports MP4 files and hardware acceleration in video. However, if you are using FLV files, you can possibly revert to the previous video player and maybe it will solve your problem. Go to admin -> settings -> misc.video.external_player, disable it.
