Hi!

First of all: GREAT JOB WITH THIS BEAUTIFUL GALLERY SOFTWARE! WELL DONE!
I will thank you every time I write to you so... get used to it :)

Ok...
Strait to the subject:
I would like to be able to use the old video player with the new version of Imagevue.
I did like how you could watch the flv files like the pictures. Now, with the lightbox... it's falling a little bit out.
Is there any way I can use the old video player for the flv files?
I do like the youtube embedding [lightbox] feature, but for the local videos... I like better the old player... :)
Don't get me wrong :) I think is just preferences...

Thank you in advance!!!

It is possible to use the old version. However, the old version does not support MP4 video, and only supports FLV video. So if your video is in FLV format, you can revert to the previous player ... Settings -> misc.video.external_player, disable it.

The reason we recommend the new player, is because it allows you to use MP4 video files, which are also compatible with with mobile devices. FLV video does not play on the majority of mobile devices, and hence a folder with FLV files should probably be disabled for mobile.

Thank you!!!

And you have a point... FLV on mobile... not good... it's just that I liked the look of the old one... a little bit cleaner and it was fitting nice in the design.
Thank you so much! Now I have to thing about the MP4s... :)

THANK YOU!!!

You can download a free video encoder like Handbrake and convert your videos to mp4.
